Job Description
KEY PURPOSE
The primary role of a Electrician is to ensure electrical repairs & over hauling electricalcomponents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure that vehicles are repaired as per RO verbatim and instruction.
• Undertake diagnosis & repairs on vehicles with electromechanicalsystems under guidance of CoTEK.
• Assist CoTEK in making technical reports to be submitted to M&M.
• In case any extra repair needs to be done, inform Floor Controller andtake his concurrence before doing the same.
• Share best practices / important observation with the team in meetings
• Ensure high quality of work and care for customer's safety to improvecustomer satisfaction.
• Minimize repeat repair.
• Improve workshop productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure all technical SOPs are adhered.
• Keeping the workstation clean and tidy thereby ensuring high level ofhousekeeping (3S).
• Overhaul off starter motor, alternator, wiper motor, upkeep of battery bench, etcBANDOperational
SKILLS REQUIREMENT
• Should be able to read wiring diagram.
• Should show high degree of accuracy.
• Must be very disciplined.
• Should exhibit confidence and curiosity to learn.
• Should have analytical capabilities.
• Should have speed in work.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• Able to read technical information in english language.
• Should understand the co-relation between electrical & mechanicalcomponents.Dealership Human Resource Manual JD-OCT 2012-40EDUCATION
• ITI in Electrical / Electronics.EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in auto electrical parts repair.
