Embedded Imaging & Vision Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop & Optimize Vision based Algorithms for data intensive computer vision problems on Embedded Platforms.
- Technical leadership & mentoring of junior engineers in the team
- Perform tasks including debug, bring - up, framework integration and production software development
Location : Bangalore/Kochi
Qualifications:
- B - Tech/BE/M - Tech/ME / Phd in Electronics and Communication
- 2 - 8 years of relevant experience
- Must have Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Exposure to Image processing, Deep learning and Machine learning techniques.
- Experience in Development, Porting and Optimization of Vision based Algorithms
Required Skills:
- Must have exposure to Image processing, Deep learning and Machine learning techniques
- Exposure to SIMD and VLIW architectures like ARM - NEON, Intel SSE and AVX, TI C6x DSP, Qualcomm Hexagon DSP etc
- Exposure to Embedded Deep Learning Ecosystems [Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, ARM, INTEL etc]
- Experience in optimization using Vision processors like Movidius Myriad Processors, TI EVE(Embedded Vision Engine), NXP's APEX core etc
- Familiar in development of Multi - thread based designs for Multi - core systems
- Very good problem solving, programming and debugging skills
- Strong communication skills
- A strong team player, self - motivated with passion for solving problems and work independently
Bonus:
- Exposure to OpenCL based GPU development / CUDA based programming
- Exposure to Scripting languages
- Matlab / Research experience
- Exposure to FPGA
