EMC ENGINEER-ELECTRICAL

Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
- Diploma: 3 ~ 7 Years
- BE: 1 ~ 3 Years
- EMI / EMC testing
- Functional Testing of Automotive component
- Knowledge of the power electronics / Electrotechnics /radio / Automotive Electronics (EFI ECU, Speedo, BCM, Signalling, Communication equipment).
- Knowledge and analysis of sources of electromagnetic disturbances and electromagnetic phenomena.
- Fixations of EMC/Transient/ESD design rules, concerning cabling, separation distances, earthing and bonding specifications.
- Writing of EMC/Transient/ESD testing (Test procedures / Test instrumentation / Practice of testing).
- EMC numerical simulation (Tools / Practice).
- EMC/Transient/ESD management of project
- English conversational/writing/reading advanced level.
- Proficient in MS Office tools like EXCEL, WORD etc.
- Decision making, Innovative & Creativity, Functional testing of Automotive Electronics and Electrical components
- Autonomy, Eagerness to learn new things. proactivity, reactivity, ability to communicate, to convince, to synthesize, to share information and experience within the EMC Network, Analytical, Technical Problem Solving

Short Description: Work as a EMC test engineer to perform EMI / EMC, Transient and ESD testing on Automotive Electrical Components
Responsibility:
- Perform EMI/EMC, Transient, ESD testing for Automotive Electrical and Electronics component like Speedo, CDI, EFI ECU, BCM etc.
- Shall have experience of handling, calibration or verification of EMI / EMC, Transient, ESD test equipment like: EMI receiver, power amplifiers, transient generator, ESD gun etc.
- Write within the framework of projects the EMC, Transient, ESD Control Plans (from the EMC requirements / test plan, definition of EMC activities, deliverable, design requirements and EMC tests).
- Ensure delivery of EMC documents as per project Documentation plan & in line with project Gate Reviews milestones
- Check the EMI/EMC, Transient, ESD test specifications and reports/certificates of compliance from subsystems suppliers.
- Analysis and solving EMC, Transient, ESD problems encountered on projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Testing
- Verification / Calibration of EMI / EMC, Transient, ESD test equipment
- Test Plan and Report review
- Adhering to laboratory management process and procedure
Key Challenges:
- Understanding of test requirements based on vehicle architecture / system requirement.
- Execute required EMC test & prepare test report, within project time line.
- Ensuring integrity of test results.
- Proper understanding of project need and ensuring alignment.
