This information security function in the CISO office is responsible for the defining, implementing and governing security practices and standards within RealPage

Application Security Analyst you will work directly with application development teams to conduct periodic automated and manual security assessments against applications and source code.  Success in this role will be determined by your ability to detect, analyze, and communicate application security issues, and work with our constituent product teams to coordinate remediation efforts.  You will be called upon to provide insights and guidance on discovered issues and how to effectively manage the associated risk.  Experience with application security tools, knowledge of DevOps processes and tools, and an understanding on how attackers exploit vulnerabilities in the wild are critical skills for this role.  

• Execute tests on RealPage applications using manual and automated static and dynamic security testing techniques and technologies.
• Configure, update, and manage application scan policies to ensure 100% coverage of scanning across RealPage web applications
• Coordinate release cycles with teammates to ensure timely remediation on discovered issues
• Review existing security controls to make an informed risk decision on discovered issues
• Report and track remediation status to leadership and stakeholders
• Implement, track, and drive improvements on application scanning KPIs and SLAs
• Review compensating controls and evaluate issues to ensure they align to risk
• Development and implementation of automated solutions to address daily manual tasks
