• To maintain inventory list of Manufacturing Automated System including PLCs/SCADA System installed at site
• Assist in 21 CFR Part 11 Assessment during Computerized System selection
• Prepare and maintain IT related SOPs (as applicable) for Manufacturing Automated Systems including PLCs / SCADA Systems
• Perform / participate into qualification and validation of Manufacturing Automated Systems including PLCs / SCADA Systems from IT for various IT Admin Roles
• Review of qualification and validation documents of Manufacturing Automated Systems including PLCs / SCADA Systems from IT perspective covering 21CFR Part 11 applicability, ER/ES, User & Role Management, Software Categorization, Audit Trail etc.
• To provide the IT Admin support on Operating Systems (OS) of Computer Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Industrial PCs, Hand Held Devices etc, which are used Manufacturing Automated Systems including PLCs / SCADA Systems at site.   For example
• User Creation
  
• User Access Right Management on various drives, folders or files
  
• Date & Time Management
  
• OS Policy Management
  
• Backup
  
• Installation / upgrade of Operating System, OS Service Pack / Patch management
  
• Anti Virus Management (if applicable)
  
• Periodic review of event logs
  
• Provide support to vendor for fixing IT related issues during breakdowns
  
• To provide the Application Admin Support for Application Software installed on computer systems used for Manufacturing Automated Systems at site. For example
• Creation of users and roles (if applicable)
  
• Access Right Management
  
• Periodic review of security audit trails
  
• Periodic backup & retrieval
  
• Upgradation of software, service packs, hot fixes, patches etc
  
• Provide assisted admin access to QA / Regulatory Authorities during audits
  
• Provide support to vendor for fixing IT related issues during breakdowns
  
• To provide Admin support for PLC / SCADA Systems installed at site. For example
•  User Creation
  
• Role Creation (if applicable)
  
• Date, Time Management
  
• Access Right Management
  
• Provide support for Periodic Password Change
  
• Program / Data backup & Retrieval
  
• Provide assisted admin access to QA / Regulatory Authorities during audits
  
• Provide support to vendor for fixing any program related issues during breakdowns
  
• Periodic review of Security events into Audit Trail (if applicable)
  
• To perform the data and program backup and retrieval of Manufacturing Automated Systems including PLCs / SCADA Systems as per applicable SOP(s) at site
• Participate in internal and external Audits to respond on IT related points for Manufacturing Automated Systems including PLCs / SCADA Systems
• Review & verification of Corrective Action Plan identified for Manufacturing Automated Systems including PLCs / SCADA Systems during internal and external audits
• Handling of any other activities / tasks allotted by department head.
