Job Description
Engineering Consultant - Open Shift
Noida (Multiple Locations) (845197)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and support the corporate Enterprise Container Strategy by identifying ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
- Manage the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
- Assist in change management of container platform for new versions of OpenShift, Hotfixes, SysAdmin tasks, etc.
- Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts
- Provide L3 engineering support
- Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing
- Author or edit system documentation/playbook(s)
- Partner with experienced team members to develop accurate work estimates on work packages
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of total work experience
- 3 years of expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.3.X
- 1 or more years of experience with monitoring products like Grafana and/or Prometheus
- Experience in Gitlab CI and Jenkins for CI and end-to-end automation for all build and CD
- Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops
- Expertise working with Docker
- Expertise in RedHat Linux administration
- Knowledge in Kubernetes
