National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is inviting applications for 150 Engineering Executive Trainee post through GATE-2018.

Mechanical: 55 Post
Mining: 20 Post
Electronics: 20 Post
Instrumentation: 20 Post
Qualification : Full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, taking average of all the Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular year by the Institute/University. Final year/semester students are also eligible however they have to obtain at least 65% marks in their engineering degree. A candidate with the prescribed degree identified for the disciplines as given below can only apply for the post of EETs in the respective disciplines:
For Electrical Engineering: Candidate should have done full time degree in Engineering in discipline Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical Instrumentation & Control/ Power System & High Voltage/ Power Electronics/ Power Engineering.
For Mechanical Engineering: Candidate should have completed full time degree in Engineering is discipline Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engineering/ Production & Industrial Engineering/ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation/ Power Engineering.
For Mining: Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or Technology/ AMIE with 65% marks.
For Instrumentation Engineering: Candidate should have done full time regular degree in Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control.
Electronics Engineering: Candidate should have complete degree in Engineering in branch Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Power / Power Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics.
Compensation Package : Selected candidates will be placed in the pre-revised pay scale Rs.24900-3%-50500 at the basic pay of Rs.24900/-
Age Limit : 27 yrs i.e. 31.01.2018
Selection Process : Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE} 2018. Based on the GATE-2018 marks and requirement. candidates will be short listed for further selection process (Online Behavioral/Aptitude Test, followed by GD and Interview). The final merit list will be prepared based on 85% weightage of GATE-2018 marks. 5% weightage of GD marks and 10% weightage of Interview marks. Please note that for ET 2018 recruitment, GATE scores of 2018 will only be valid.
Service Agreement Bond for NTPC Vacancy 2018: Selected candidate who belong to General and OBC category should have required to executive service agreement bond of Rs. 2,50, 000/- and Rs. 1,25,000/- for candidate who belong to SC, ST & PWD Category to service the company for at least 03 years after completion of one-year training.
Application Fee for NTPC Executive Trainee Jobs 2018: Candidate who belong to General/ OBC category should have pay registration fee of Rs. 150/- for NTPC Recruitment Through GATE – 2018. Candidate who belong to SC/ ST/ PWD & Ex-Serviceman category are no need to pay registration fee.
