Responsibilities

1. Build a motivated team - Hire, Train & Mentor.
2. Develop and deliver automation software required for building & improving the functionality, performance, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms.
3. Design, architect, and implement self-service, self-healing, synthetic monitoring and alerting platform and tools
4. Automate the development and test automation processes through CI/CD pipeline (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker containers)
5. Build container hosting-platform using Kubernetes
6. Champion new cloud technologies, tools & processes to keep innovating in the e-commerce & beauty area to drive greater business value.
7. Responsible for end-to-end architecture of Platform. Leads High & Low level design of critical components. 
8. Work closely with Engineering leaders to develop short and long-term strategies
9. Budgeting - Own the HR & Infra Budgets of the Platform Engineering team.

Ideal Candidate

1. BE/ Btech from Top Tier College.
2. 7-10 years of relevant work experience in modern cloud technologies. Prior experience in consumer internet is highly preferred.
3. Proficiency in deploying and maintaining Cloud based infrastructure services (AWS, GCP, Azure – good hands-on experience in at least one of them)
4. Well versed with Devops Practices, service-oriented architecture, cloud-based web services architecture, design patterns and frameworks.
5. Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage

trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas.
