Engineering Support/JavaScript Engineer Jobs in Pune - Properly

Role:

You will work closely with customer support, software developers and QA engineers around the world to analyze javascript software issues, debug data problems in mongo databases and follow problems to resolution.

Responsibilities:

• This role is not a customer facing role, you will connect between the customer support and the engineering team

• Take ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems to resolution

• Ask targeted questions to the customer support  team to quickly understand the underlying problem.

• Properly escalate unresolved issues to the software developers

• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to the customer support team.

• Refer to internal knowledge base and external resources to identify possible causes of a problem, look at the database to find the root cause

• Ensure all issues are properly logged and their status is up to date

• Document technical knowledge in our knowledge base in Confluence

• Providing support in the form of procedural documentation

• Managing multiple open cases at a time and tracking them until closure

• Properly Mobile app on IOS and Android

Expected skills:

• Experience with Javascript/Node.js/mongo database.

• Strong process orientation and keen attention to detail.

• Prioritizes work to meet project deadlines; demonstrates initiative to learn and contribute 

• Fluent written and verbal communication in English with global peers and stakeholders

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tech support or development role, written communication by way of support tickets in Jira.

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
