Job Description
Objectives:
- The purpose of the casual engagement is to conduct the data collection for the socio economic survey.
- The data will be collected through the use of questionnaire.
- The survey will apply a three stage cluster sampling where the first stage cluster sampling will be the sampling of blocks from the informal settlements, the second stage sampling will involve the selection of segments from the sampled blocks and the third stage sampling will be the selection of households from the sampled segments.
- Quantitative data collection using the questionnaires
- Feeding of the collected field data in to the given excel format.
- Eleven days of which one day will be for training. The assignment will be in last week of July 2018.
- Location:3 districts in BIHAR (Munger, Begusarai, Lakhisarai) and 2 districts in UTTAR PRADESH (Chandoli and Gazipur).
- Applicant should be a graduate in any subject.
- Applicant should be computer literate.
- Applicant should be fluent in Hindi and English.
- Applicants should be available (full time) for work from July last week to August first week.
- Applicant should have the willingness to travel and work in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
- Applicant should be honest, diligent, energetic, smart and hardworking.
- The Prior experience in social-survey data collection and is desirable, but not required.
- Applicant should have good inter-personal skills.
