Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Perform system administration activities with respect to Exalogic Server
  • Administration like applying patches, configuring and allocating resources, monitoring the hardware and software components Perform OS Administration (Linux or Solaris) activities like Configuring users, creating and maintain file systems, backup, etc
  • Experience in configuring and administering OEM for monitoring various components
  • Experience in configuring Exalogic Server with Exadata Server and knowledge of Infini band network connectivity
  • Experience in configuring and using ILOM in depth networking knowledge e.g. fabrics (preference to InfiniBand), vlans, switches, etc
  • Unix system administration experience, in depth kernel knowledge RAC administration (Storage appliances, switches, ILOMs and cabling), installation and configuration
  • Shell/ Perl/Python scripts experience 
Effective trouble shooting and problem-solving skills

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Good understanding of core support processes and change management, maintain documentation standards
  • Should be good team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Help design, maintain, improve and implement monitoring tools.
  • Manage routine Database Backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Work with Onsite teams and collaborate.
