The Deendayal Port Trust had commissioned the Off-shore Oil Terminal facilities at Vadinar in the year 1978 jointly with Indian Oil Corporation, by providing Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) system, having a capacity of 54 MMTPA, which was first of its kind in India.
