Job description

Responsible for the day to day activity of running the inventory and warehouse operations ensuring that the inventory system is fully operational.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• The candidate will look after documentation for Import Export of company's finished goods to different foreign countries.
• He / she shall be responsible for making all import/export documents pre and post shipment including presentation to bank, correspondences with the freight forwarders & clearance agents.
• Monitoring and keeping track record of import/export payments, various export licenses such as Advance Authorization etc.
• Planning up the entire export-import operations which is convenient and beneficial to client
• Compliance of statutory requirements in respect of import/exports.
• Checking documents received from client and reporting for errors.
• Consulting Shipping Lines/Air Lines/Forwarders for freight, routing, equipment/space booking, vessel ETA to plan up the shipment movement with coordination of BD Team.
• Making arrangement of transportation, cargo handling equipment which are required for cargo handling.
• Coordinating and with the operations team for better and smoother cargo clearance.
• Submitting shipping instructions/BL draft to Line/Forwarders as per client requirements.
• Submitting final weight to airlines and preparing airway bill.
• Following up with shipping line & freight forwarders for timely BL release and also consulting for other document such as, Certificate of Origin and so on.
• Notifying clients regarding import arrival, checking draft documents and commenting on the same.
• Dispatching import cargo stored at warehouse with proper documentation to the client facility.
• Reporting day to day all the shipment related activities to Sales & marketing team and seniors.
• Accounts and tally knowledge adds benefits for this position.
• Responsible for 6S and maintain ISO related documents.
