Exhibition Assistant ‘A’ (Sculpture) job position in Birla Industrial & Technological Museum
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree (BVA or equivalent) in Commercial Art/ Fine Art of 4/5 years duration with one year relevant experiences in sculpture and having knowledge of clay modelling, moulding and fibre glass casting work with documentary proof. Desirable –Working knowledge of Computer Graphic software (CorelDraw, Photoshop, Flash, etc).
Job requirement : Preparation of art layout, making of models, dioramas; helping Exhibition Officer in display work.

1959. The premise of Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, now
19A, Gurusaday Road, was known as 18, Ballygunge Store Road before 1919.
Record shows that the Tagores purchased it from Mirza Abdul Karim in
1898. Meera Devi, the fourth of Rabindranath Tagore’s five children,
spent a large part of her childhood in this house. From Surendranath
Tagore, G.D. Birla bought the property in 1919 and from henceforth came
to be known as Birla Park.
