Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist the junior designer with trend research, CADs, and tech packs for multiple ranges across the brand group.
2. Maintain sample room and product on correct rails
3. Prepare weekly ahead of fits and assist in the fit sessions with typing comments & keeping sample trackers updated
4. Work on sample chasing and tracking - track all samples actioned and due dates, communicate closely with suppliers. & chase samples when necessary
5. Work on buying samples when necessary and keeping archives and logs up to date
6. Manage the design process from conception through to final styling
7. Work on conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques and seeking design inspiration
8. Work on ensuring the product is in agreement with the business strategy
9. Work on selecting fabrics and trims
10. Create production sketches for development packages
11. Review product for style and fit during the presentation

Other requirements
1. Bachelors degree in a design college or degree in fashion design or related field
2. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
3. Strong graphic design, illustration, print development capabilities
4. Strong sense of color & fashion and awareness of print/pattern trends
5. Previous experience creating tech packs
