Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Understanding the client's needs and their individual personality
2. Providing tailored advice on individual pieces, whole outfits, colors, styles, and fabrics that will suit the client's preferences, style, body type and price range, as well as the occasion they're dressing for
3. Converting potential clients and increasing sales for the company
4. Remaining up-to-date with current fashion trends and principles
5. Understanding and sourcing fabric manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors
6. Building synergies and managing relationships with fabric suppliers and manufacturers
7. Utilizing trend analysis to source trendy fabrics
8. Identifying sources of wide supply of textiles, sewing accessories, etc. and identifying and creating new sources to meet the category's product requirements
9. Understanding the qualities of various fabrics and dyes as well as the textile manufacturing methods
10. Purchasing materials and planning inventory and overseeing warehouse efficiency
11. Assisting team in overall business operations
12. Taking measurements of clients or supporting the measurement team in the body measurement process based on individual choice, style and fabric
