Fellowships conducts Wadia Institute of
Himalayan Geology
Essential Qualifications: (i) Master’s Degree in any field of Geosciences. (ii) First division throughout his/her academic career. (iii) CSIR/UGC NET (JRF) /GATE qualified.
Age: Not exceeding 28 years
No.of Fellowships : 06 (per year)
Remuneration and duration: The maximum tenure of Wadia Fellowship will be for Five Years (2 years as JRF and 3 years as SRF). The fellowship amount is Rs. 29,000/- + HRA per month for JRF during the first two years, and Rs. 34,000/- + HRA per month for next three years as Senior Research Fellow (SRF). JRF to SRF promotion after completion of second year will be on the basis of satisfactory assessment by the host Institution/WIHG. The ‘Wadia Fellowship’ also gives an annual contingency grants of Rs. 70,000/- during the tenure of the Fellowship.
