Designation: Field Investigator/ No. of vacancies: 01
Project: The Street Vendors Act 2014: A Study of Implementation Gaps and Level of
Awareness amongst Street Vendors in Ludhiana City.
Essential: Applicants are required to be Post Graduate in any social science discipline with a
minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable: Experience in data collection and data entry in excel and SPSS. Candidate must be
well versed with research methodology.
Work Description: Prospective Research Assistant is required to assist in the project work,
field visits, data collection, data entry and data editing. Candidate should be highly
motivated and demonstrate a flair for team work along with commitment and sincerity at
the work place.
Honorarium: As per IMPRESS, ICSSR guidelines, Research Assistant will be entitled to Rs.
15,000/- per month.
Duration: The duration of appointment will be 06 months or till the completion of project,
whichever is earlier. However, initial appointment will be for the duration of two months
extendable to full duration based on the performance during first two months.
