Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) invites application for the position Field Investigator
Project entitled: “Phase III, Multicentre, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Study to Evaluate Efficacy of Probiotic Supplementation for Prevention of Neonatal Sepsis in 0-2 Months old Low Birth Weight Infants in India" (ProSPoNS study).
No. Of Post: 8 Posts
Qualification: BSc Nursing from a recognised university and research experience in the relevant field
1. Job involves field work and extensive travel in the districts for home visits
2. Residents from Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Cuddalore and Puducherry districts will be preferred for field visits in respective districts. Hence applicants from other districts will not be preferred.
3. Field visitor should have a two wheeler and mobile phone
4. Should be able to communicate fluently in Tamil, administer intervention, collect data and accompany infant to hospital if required
Age Limit: 30 years
Salary: Rs 18,000/- per month consolidated Upper age limit: 30 yrs
