Job Description:
  • To plan and carry out all prospect generation and sales activities aimed at adding and or increasing customer demand points/buying in assigned accounts or territories.
  • Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of product and service delivery.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting and lead generation activities, generate and qualify leads and meet to discuss in person, on phone and email.
  • source and develop client referrals and prepare sales action plans and strategies and schedule sales activities.
  • Develop and maintain a customer database and target them with sales and promotional materials.
  • Make sales calls to new and existing clients with presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Negotiate with clients, coordinate pricing with procurement and develop sales proposals and prepare and present sales contracts.
  • Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports in CRM and SFA applications and respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • follow up on sales activity and regularly perform quality checks on product and service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities, competitive landscape, pricing and other market intelligence and follow up for management and carry out market research and surveys and participate in sales events.
  • Track accounts receivables, coordinate the collections effort from the customers and be responsible for debtors outstanding.
Education and Experience:
  • Knowledge and at least 1 years of experience of office productivity applications, spreadsheets, presentation, strong familiarity with Google.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of sales and of customer service principles ideally in the hospitality sector, selling to the HoReCa – hotels, restaurants café segment at Bangalore with at least 1 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of basic business principles and experience in sales and in making presentations, negotiations and closure and a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Bachelor’s, graduate degree in sciences, commerce, hotel management or agriculture.
Key Competencies:
  • Planning strategy and implementing in the field, street savvy, local language familiarity, persuasiveness and adaptability, gung-ho attitude
  • Ability to comprehend and clear verbal and written communication, experience with sales force tools or familiarity with internet
  • Negotiation skills with resilience and tenacity and stress tolerance while being extremely goal driven
