Job Description

Analyst in AP & AR Team reporting to the Team lead.
Process the AP /AR invoices and account for payments /receipts, reconcile accounts, and analyze account balances and other duties as assigned.
Typically requires a Commerce degree in Accounting with specific training/experience in AP & AR Process.
Familiarity with internal, financial controls is preferred.
Essential Duties Accounts Payable PO and Invoice Processing.
Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Payment Processing.
Tracking aging of payables.
Assist in month end closing.
Should be able to handle AP queries independently.
Reporting and Analysis.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Reconciliation of the Accounts Payable (AP) & accrued balances Accounts Receivable Billing. Cash Application.
Tracking aging of receivables.
Assist in month end closing.
Should be able to handle AR queries independently.
Reporting and Analysis.
Reconciliation of the Account Receivables Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Minimum Qualifications Education Essential B.Com Additional M.Com / MBA/ C.A. Inter Experience Two to four years work experience as a AP/AR Accountant Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency Work Skills Excellent verbal, telephone and written communication skills Excellent organizational, documentation and follow-up skills Skills in prioritizing and dealing with multiple tasks
Demonstrated experience in working well in small teams and working with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds
Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
Detail-oriented; demonstrated commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word Exhibit and promote good personal and business professional personal Ethics.
