Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. 
  • You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

  • Purpose of the Role: To provide financial guidance and support Sol’s ARC to make sound financial decisions.

Responsibilities

  • To provide and interpret financial information
  • To monitor and interpret cash flows and predicting future trends
  • To analyse change and advise accordingly
  • To formulate strategic and long-term financial plans
  • To research and report on factors influencing organizational performance
  • To develop financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
  • To conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  • To manage organizations financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
  • To liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
  • To develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. Auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations
  • To Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
  • To provide support on all financial matters with regard to the total budgets.
  • To orient and ensure donor compliances with respect to financial reporting.
  • To receive and deal with financial queries and enquiries from departments
  • To provide induction on financial matters in accordance with financial management to new recruits
  • To contribute to the analysis of financial information, preparing reports and making recommendations for corrective course of action
  • To create donor reports.
  • To monitor procedures in respect of checking and authorizing accounts for payment, as part of the finance team.
  • To ensure the books of accounts are maintained as per the standards and timely manner
  • Review monthly bank reconciliation statements of all bank

General Duties

  • To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
  •  It will be necessary to work with information technology and associated systems in accordance with company policy.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibilities of the position.

Qualifications

  • MBA in Finance / Postgraduate degree in Finance
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Finance sector especially budgets, MIS, donor reporting preferably in development sector

Technical Skills

  • Good knowledge of computer - Windows and Microsoft Office applications especially Ms Excel. 
  • Should have working knowledge of Tally Accounting Package
  • Strong online research skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT and numerical abilities.

Other Specification

  • Open to travel.

Annual CTC

  • Rs. 7,20,000/- to Rs. 9,00,000/-
