Summary
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the hub of information (financials, performance metrics, etc.) to support the Operations within the Administrative Solutions business globally.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret and report on monthly, quarterly, annual financial results.
- Assists in the preparation of monthly reporting, periodic forecasts and annual budgets.
- Reconciles and analyzes GL accounts.
- Forecast quarterly and annual profits.
- Prepare cost projections.
- Tracking budget targets and providing regular reports on activity.
- Tracking personnel information for the operations.
- Conduct thorough research of historical financial data.
- Producing and maintaining the dashboard overseeing the allocations back and forth between the various P&Ls.
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the financial information system and ensures data integrity and accuracy.
- Working with and supporting the lines of business, regions and functional groups in identifying, evaluating and executing profitability improvement initiatives.
- Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
- Identifying sources of data (financial and operating metrics) and facilitating ongoing data collection.
- Identifies inefficiencies related to processes or procedures, devises ways for improvement and implements appropriate plan of action.
- Ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Assists with special projects and performs other duties, as required.
- Bachelors of Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or similar
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills and experience (7+ years)
- Advanced MS Excel skills and experience
- Experience building and maintaining central data repositories
- Experience and comfort working with Financials Statements and Financial Modeling
- Experience and comfort working with operational and performance metrics
- Strong detail orientation
- Industry knowledge and/or ability (and interest) to quickly learn
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Superior communications and organizational skills
- Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independence
- Ability to create presentations (in PowerPoint) for senior management and present with poise
- Other advanced database skills (e.g. ERP queries, SQL, etc.)
