Job Description
- Develop expertise in the mutual fund industry, specific fund families and various capital market sectors
- Execute transactions and reports generation from a Financial Asset Management System (e.g. Investwell software and associated AUM files)
- Execute BackOffice requirements for reconciling transactions, commission receivables and sub brokerage payables
- Assist with quantitative/qualitative analysis and reconciliation of Monthly MIS & AUM reports
- Provide client service support, including comprehensive portfolio reports and updating of portfolio restructuring requirements
- Execute transactions, data entry, report generation on NSE online system (NMFII)
- Client Servicing: investor on-boarding, query resolution, summary reports etc.
- Follow-up and status tracking for business sales/prospects pipeline
- Compilation of various MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Assist with various BackOffice activities, as may be needed from time to time
- Graduation or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Post-graduation in Finance or related area, preferred
- Experience of volunteering, internships desired
- Diploma/Certification in relevant financial services area (e.g. NISM – Mutual Funds Advisor) required
- Typically, 2 years of experience in similar roles in financial/client services
- Good communications and presentation skills
- Demonstrable expertise on MS Office applications or equivalents
- Demonstrated interest in the Indian Public Equity, Mutual Funds and Debt capital markets
- Highly attentive to details with willingness to learn and innovate
- Candidate from nearby areas (Malad-West, Mumbai), within easy commute, preferred
