Your Role and Responsibilities
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 1+ years of IT experience
- Programming skills - Languages: Perl / Python
- Familiarity with general Hypervisor environment
- Familiarity with System P architecture, Server hardware knowledge is a plus
- Prefer familiarity with creating and managing IBMi, VIOS, AIX or Linux partitions using server management tools.
- Configure Network, SAN and Virtual Machine setup in Unix/Linux environment.
- Experience in I/O or Storage domain, Virtualization concepts, able to configure and execute partition mobility (I/O technologies like PCIe, Adapter hardware etc...).
- Should have strong debugging skills. Should be able to isolate setup/configuration, hardware, scripts, product issues.
- Write Test Plans from the Design Documents.
- Experience with defect management tools like Clear Quest and Test tracking tools (RQM a plus)
- Experience in scripting languages (PERL / Python) and should have experience in configuring and executing automated test suites.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proven Test experience with Jenkins, Perl/Python etc , server management and Linux / Unix Operating systems exposure
- Proven experience with system management software (platform management and/or virtualization management)
