Food Processing Technologist

• Food processing technologists are responsible for the safe and efficient development, modification and manufacture of food products and processes
  

 Eligibility Criteria: 

• Only can apply those who have strong experience in Tender coconut water filtration, tetra packing, Bottling & Packaging, Chilling & Storage, etc.
  

 Roles & Responsibilities

• Should have strong experience in Tender coconut water filtration, Cleaning, Rinsing, Aseptic Perforation Cracking, Filtration, Centrifugation, Pasteurization, Carbonation, Sterilization, Microfiltration, Ultra filtration, Bottling, Canning, Tetra Packing & hot filling
  
• Applies scientific and engineering principles in research, development, production technology, quality control, packaging, processing, and utilization of foods: Conducts basic research, and new product research and development of foods.
  
• Develops new and improved methods and systems for food processing, production, quality control, packaging, and distribution.
  
• Studies methods to improve quality of foods, such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, convenience, or physical, chemical, and microbiological composition of foods.
  
• May specialize in one phase of food technology, such as product development, quality control, or production inspection, technical writing, teaching, or consulting
  
• May specialize in particular branch of food technology, such as cereal grains, beverages, dairy products, flavors, sugars and starches, stabilizers, preservatives, colors, and nutritional additives, and be identified according to branch of food technology.
  
• Depth knowledge of food biology and food chemistry.
  
• Review & update the various regulatory norms for packaging, storage & distribution
  
• Developing a new type of packaging, changing the way the food is stored, adding or removing ingredients or using a different type of preservative.

•  To become a food processing technologist, the minimum education you need is a bachelor's degree in a science, such as a biology, chemistry or physics, or in a related engineering field, such as agricultural engineering
• B.Tech/ M.Sc Food Technology
• M.Sc. Microbiology/ Chemistry
• Experience: 3 to 8 Years
