Forest Ranger Job Position in Tripura
Public Service Commission (Tripura PSC)
No. of Posts : 08 (SC-02, ST-03 &
UR-03)
Qualification : Bachelor's Degree (or
equivalent) in Science or Engineering of any recognized University
Scale of Pay : PB-02 of Rs. 5,700-24,000/-
with GP of Rs. 4,200/-
Age Limit : Up to 40 years as on 11.04.2017.
Department : Forest
The Recruitment process will comprise of following successive stages in the sequence of-
(a) Preliminary Examination (100% MCQ),
(b) Main Examination (600 marks),
(c) Physical Efficiency Test (will be conducted by the Forest Department),
(d) Interview (75 marks).

About Company
Tripura Public Service Commission was first incorporated under Article 96C of the Government of India Act,1919. Thereafter in 1923 ‘Lee Commission’ was constituted for the purpose of formulating the principles/terms and conditions of Public Service Commission. Subsequently,as per recommendations of the ‘Lee Commission’ Federal Public Service Commission was established in India for the first time, on 1st October, 1926.
