FREELANCE MINUTE TAKER
1. To ensure the minutes of the meetings of the Board/Committee are recorded, typed and finalized in an accurate and timely manner.
2. Desired skills and attributes
• Minute taking skills
• Understanding of and commitment to the Board/Committee vision and purpose.
• Ability to commit half day/full day to the performance of the role as and when required in a month as per the meeting schedule.
Responsibilities. Attend all board/committee meetings as and when required.
1 Record all key decisions and discussion items of meetings of the Board/Committee.
2 Ensure minutes of each meeting are provided to the COO of the board/ Committee within one week of that meeting occurring;
3 Maintain confidentiality of all items discussed in board/Committee meetings.
4 Review your notes and add additional comments to ensure clarity. Do this while the information is fresh in your mind. Type your notes out in the template you created before the meeting – this will make the notes easier for everyone to read and use. Once the typing of notes is finalized share it with COO.
5. Payment would be made on providing the services based on a half-day/ full-day basis.
