About the Job:

• This role within our Web/Cloud Applications team is responsible for contributing to the development of our Applications framework and one or more highly visual applications that we  delivers to Mining and Civil Engineering industry. 
• The successful candidate will love collaborating on high energy, Agile teams and working with Product and QA to ensure features are well defined, delightfully designed and delivered with high quality.

• You’ll take key product features from concept to release, while working with your team members to make sure the design, architecture, and backend functionality supports those features.
  
• Your work contributes to the overall design and architecture of our web platform. You’ll collaborate by giving and receiving code reviews, tech talks, and other technical feedback.
  
• You will build single-page web applications using modern Javascript frameworks like React, Ember, or Angular.
  
• You will analyze and debug JavaScript performance in the browser.
  
• You will implement HTML and CSS from scratch, or based on design mockups.
  

• Three years front-end web development (HTML, JS, CSS, with a focus on JS).
  
• Ideally one of those three years should be geared around an Angular app.
  
• Familiarity with ES6 / ES2015 features (e.g. arrow functions, object destructuring, template literals, spread operator, etc.)
  
• Familiarity with Node/Yarn and code linters.
  
• Familiarity with source control, ideally git.
  

• Knowledge of backend development (Rails, SQL-esque databases).
  
• A background in graphics and a love of great UI/UX.
  
• An ability to analyze and render 2D and 3D data, and familiarity with computer graphics and OpenGL/WebGL.
  
• You have strong contributions in development communities, open source projects, or forums.
