Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3+ years developing with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript using a common JS framework preferably Angular 7) and backend technologies (nosql, Java, Spring, APIs, Kafka), Node.js-based toolchain (NPM, Grunt, Gulp)
- Good understanding of API Gateways management, microservices and logging using log4j
- Good understanding of unit, behavioral and end-to-end testing (Junit, Karma, Cypress, Mocha)
- Experience with enterprise level apps and tools for monitoring
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Semantic HTML, modular CSS and JavaScript sans frameworks Cross-browser quirks and compatibility for UI development
- Microservices based service experience with any nosql db preferably ES, Graphdb and Java as a backend language
- Working with and integrating APIs (REST / Graphql)
- Team Git workflow and version control
- Scrum/agile software development methodologies
- Continuous delivery toolchain (Jenkins, Travis, Kubernetes)
- Good understanding of monitoring/ logging tools such as New Relic, Instana, Graylog
- Understanding of cloud engineering (containerization / docker, deployments)
- Knowledge of Kafka, big data technologies is a plus
