Job Description – Fund Manager

Primary Role

• Identification of Investment opportunities / Projects in Listed and Unlisted Companies and present it to Investment Committee for their approval for investment.
• Opportunities for Merger & Acquisition, Minority Stake, Buying out Non Performing Assets.
• Validating Listed and Unlisted Business Model, Estimating Revenue Projections, Forecasting Cash Flows independently or with assistance from Analyst or from external vendors
• Preparing Private placement memorandum for Listed and Unlisted projects, making fund raising documents, Information Memorandum, Teaser for investor presentations
• Establishing and maintaining, for the Listed and Unlisted fund separately for each of the funds, fund accounting internally or with the help of external vendors, publishing NAV, Fund Performance Report, Updates to relevant stake holders
• Ensuring requisite compliance all the time with the regulators and all the fund constituents as per AIF –I regulations and prevailing guideline
• Leading investor presentation, organize road shows, investor summits for potential investors globally.
• Responsible for marketing of fund - sales calls, distributer meetings, etc.
• Maintained sector (infrastructure) coverage as required by the investment team
• Recognized sectoral trends and identified potential profit opportunities
• Developed financial models, prepared reports and identified new stock ideas
• Work closely with the Investment Management team and monitor portfolios and communicate equity market trends

Additional Responsibilities

• Presenting to the investors periodically and attending to investor queries with regard to project updates and investment performance of the Listed and Unlisted fund under management or proposed fund
• Developing vendor network to ensure compliance and strengthening fund administration
• Oversee operations work including vendor functioning, accounting, Compliance and back office work.
• Promptly escalate any urgent valuation issues with third party pricing vendors, accounting matters, to ensure that the Funds is complied all the time and investors updated periodically
• Work with third party vendors to research and resolve any questions raised through such reviews, including actions to mitigate issue reoccurrence
• Review partnership agreements, Provide operational and reporting support to internal and external groups as needed.
• Interacting and communicating with various distribution partners like wealth managers and financial advisors.
