Position Overview
Reporting to a Vice President of Operations, the Manager will manage staff and ensure our daily deliverables are met with Hedge Fund clients and other Citco Offices per Service Level Agreements. Our clients demand the highest standards of execution and your role will be key in achieving this by maintaining a focus on training and development of staff, work flow processes and control improvements.

Main Job Functions/responsibilities Include
Ensure accuracy in the trade processing and reconciliations processes, which includes reviewing daily reconciliation work of staff; Work with other managers to ensure efficient allocation of staff and workflow and assist staff with their daily work as need arises; Support the conversion of all new clients and assist and support new fund setups; Act as liaison between the client / other Citco Offices, which includes negotiation of Service Level Agreements and monitoring compliance of said agreements; Review procedures and recommend solutions in order to improve efficiencies; Ensure adherence to all internal and external audit standards, and participate in the fiscal year-end audit process; Keep Senior Management abreast of all material issues affecting the processing of deliverables; Create development plans for staff and implement training initiatives; Complete ad hoc reports requests and operations metrics as required by management; Other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Education & Experiences
Bachelor or Master level degree (in accounting, finance, economics) or professional accounting designation; 7 + years in Financial Services with an exposure to P&L Reporting or Operations processing; Product knowledge: Domestic, Global and OTC security markets, Fixed Income and derivative product knowledge; Knowledge of Hedge or Mutual Funds; Strong analytical skills; Exposure to systems implementations and work flow process initiatives; Advanced skills in MS Excel; Strong customer relationship skills; Excellent communication skills
Main Job Functions/Tasks
- Review and ensure accuracy of accounting records, trade processing, cash and portfolio reconciliations, portfolio valuations and net asset valuations
- Plan, schedule and manage the daily workflows of all client and Local Office deliverables
- Work with other managers to ensure efficient allocation of staff and workflow and assist Supervisors and fund accountants with their daily work as needs arise
- Act as primary contact with Local Office and lead monthly office client calls
- Keep Senior Management abreast of all material issues affecting the processing of deliverables
- Review procedures and recommend solutions to improve efficiencies
- Assist and support the migration of new clients and fund set-ups
- Develop, adhere and maintain targets concerning staffing, productivity and overtime budgeting
- Create staff development plans and implement training and performance management initiatives
- Complete ad hoc reports and operations metrics as required by management
- Perform other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or management
- Relevant professional designation is an advantage (CPA, CFA, CMA)
- At least 8 years of experience in accounting and/or custodianship; accounting experience in Hedge and/or Fund of Funds is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing staff
- Exposure to systems implementations and work flow process initiatives
- Willing to work on shifting schedule
- Demonstrated strong analytical and organizational skills
- Advanced skills in MS Excel is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a changing, fast-paced work environment
