Research Associate job opportunities in G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development

For SED & KCB Theme

Qualification : Ph.D. with first class Masters degree in Science supported by research publications, Experience in relevant subjectDesirable :  Experience working in sustainable development NTFPs and forest related aspects 

Nature of Duties & Responsibilities : Take up field research on NTFPs and communities dependence on them, access exiting policy framework in IHR, and optimizing future use of NTFPs

 For WPM, EAM and EGP Theme

Qualification : First Class Masters Degree and Ph. D. in Physical Sciences/ Mathematical Sciences/ Geological Sciences/ Geography / RSGIS or 1st class Master Degree in Environmental Engineering/Engineering Geology with 3 years experience Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working with GIS / Remote sensing software/ Hydrological instrumentation

Nature of Duties & Responsibilities : Numerical analyses and mathematical modeling of hydrological processes, field work in difficult terrain across IHR to assist Institutional In-House research projects at Institute HQs and Regional Units 
 
Place of Work : All over Indian Himalayan region (IHR)
