Job Description
- -We are seeking candidates with a strong background in game development specializing in virtual and augmented reality.
- This job involves developing, designing, and programming applications in game engines like Unity3D, UnReal, Stingray.
- Extensive experience and strong overall knowledge of lighting, animation, audio, optimization, physics, etc. is required.
- The position encompasses many roles, with a focus on rapidly prototyping virtual reality concepts.
- Knowledge of every part of game development, from proof-of-concept to final bug testing is preferred.
- Communication skills, and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
- 1-2 years of experience or freshers with knowledge of application development preferably in Unity3D game engine.
- Proficiency in C#; .Net development .
- Strong understanding of computer graphics concepts like Low Poly modeling, UV Maps, Tracing, Surfacing etc.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design patterns
- Excellent ability to write efficient, clear, and maintainable code
- Portfolio of two recently shipped games or applications
- Experience with virtual reality (Vive, Oculus) and VR SDKs (SteamVR plugin for Unity, Unity VR API, OpenVR) is highly desired.
- Highly motivated self-starter and team player
- Experience of development for Hololens on Windows 10 platform will be an added advantage
- You can still apply if you don't have experience with Unity but have strong experience in any other gaming engine or OpenGL and WebGL.
