Job Description
1. Position: Guest/ Part-Time Teachers
2. Minimum Qualifications as per UGC Regulations: A Master's Degree with 55% marks and 50% for SC/ST and OBC category (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned subject with M.Phil., Ph.D. and or SET/ NET/ SLET.
3. Experience: A minimum of two/ three years experience in College/ University level teaching.
4. Qualification and Specialization:
(i) Centre for Futures Studies:
(a) Master Degree with at least 55% marks of its equivalent grade in Futures Studies / Environmental Science / Micro Biology / Botany / Sociology / Management with special reference to Perspective Planning.
(b) Desirable: Ph.D. / M.Phil. with NET/SLET. Preference will be given to candidates with Teaching /Research Experience.
(ii) Physical Education and Yoga Centre:
(a) A Master's Degree in Yoga. The candidate must have cleared the NET/SET or Ph.D. degree holders shall be exempted from the NET/SLET/SET.
(b) Teaching experience at University level with good academic records.
(c) Desirable: Regular mode in UG and PG degrees.
(iii) Centre for Rural Energy:
(a) Ph.D. in Energy Engineering / Renewal Energy (or) M.E. / M.Tech in Renewable Energy / Energy Engineering with B.E. / B.Tech. in relevant branch of Engineering.
(b) Specialization: 1. Renewable Energy; 2. Energy Conservation
(iv) Dept. of Home Science:
(a) M.Sc./ M.Phil. with NET/SET/Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition / Food Science / Food Service Management and Dietetics.
(b) Preference will be given to candidates with Teaching and Research Experience in Food Science & Nutrition / Food Service Management and Dietetics, organized workshops & Conferences.
(v) School of Agriculture and Animal Sciences:
(a) A Master's Degree in Agronomy from a recognized University with not less than 55% of marks (50% for SC and ST or equivalent OGPA). Candidates must have cleared the ICAR- NET/Ph.D.
(b) A Master's Degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from a recognized University with not less than 55% of marks (50% for SC and ST or equivalent OGPA). Candidates must have cleared the ICAR-NET/Ph.D.
(c) Agricultural Engineering: B.E./B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering and M.E./M.Tech. in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering with at least 55% marks (50% for SC and ST or equivalent OGPA) from a recognized State/Central Agricultural University. He / She must have also cleared NET in the relevant subject.
(d) Desirable: Ph.D. in the relevant field.
