Research Associate II/JRF job position in in G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development purely temporary positions
Project : “Timberline and Altitudinal Gradient Ecology of Himalayas, and Human Use Sustenance in a Warming Climate”, under National Mission of Himalayan Studies (NMHS), Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (Govt. of India)
Sub-Project : “Plant diversity and community structure along altitude gradient in three sites of Indian Himalayan region”
Research Associate II
Qualification (Essential) : Ph.D. with first class Masters degree in Botany/Forestry/Ecology/Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences, supported by research publications in peer reviewed journals. Qualification (desirable): Working experience in field biodiversity assessment and related research, preferably in high altitude Himalayan region; should possess analytical capabilities, computer proficiency, writing project report/management plan, etc.

Pay Scale : Rs.38,000/- per month + HRA 10% (Fixed per month)

Qualification (Essential) : First class Masters degree in Botany/Life Sciences/Biodiversity/Forestry/ Environmental Sciences. Desirable : Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working in Himalayan region

Pay Scale : Rs 16,000/- for first 2 years and Rs.18,000/- for 3rd year +HRA @ 10% per month
