GB Pant Social Science Institute (GBPSSI) invites application for the position Consultant
Project: “Food insecurity and diversity among low-income migrant workers affected by COVID-19 in India”
Duration: 6 Months
No of Post: 01
Remuneration (P/M Consolidated): Rs. 50,000/-
Essential qualifications: Ph.D. in Social Sciences and at least three years of research experience after the award of Ph.D.
Desirable: Expertise in Population, Migration, and Health research and good publication record in reputed journals with excellent command of the English language. Good working knowledge of Stata statistical package and MS-Excel is required. The candidate should be acquainted with the SNAP (online survey tool).
Responsibilities: The candidate needs to work on finalizing the questionnaire in SNAP application and a do real-time quality check of the quantitative data. He/she has to do the analysis and of quantitative and qualitative data and interpretation of results. He/she will be responsible for report writing, revision and language editing (if required) of the final report and prepare the draft of project related papers for publication.
