Job Description
GCP Solution Designer
Role:
- Ability to identify and gather requirements to define an end to end Datawarehouse solution on cloud platform.
- Hands-on experience on DWH migration from On-prem to Cloud
- Data modelling (normalised, star-schema, snowflake)
- Good knowledge of Hadoop platform
- Good understanding of Big Data technologies
- CI/CD Implementation of cloud solutions
- Automation of Infrastructure deployment
- Data Governance Management softwares like Collibra
- Experience in DWH Design and Implementation
- Experience in Databases (Relational, MPP, NoSQL
- Experience in Batch and Real-time Data processing (using products like Kafka)
- Expertise in ETL Tools (preferably cloud based solutions)
- Should have proficiency with at least one programming language - Python/Scala/Java
- Good knowledge of key Data management tools and strategies as per latest industry trends
- Excellent Communication & Stakeholder management skills
- Should be able to recommend architectural best practices and suggest improvements for an existing application
