General Manager/Additional General Manager 37 job Vacancies in Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited on “Contract” with min.3 years to 5 years,
Sr.No.1: General Manager (Civil)

Qualification : Candidate must be B.E/B.Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having more than 20 years of Post Qualification experience in construction of large infra project of planning & execution in Viaducts, Bridges, MultiStored Buildings, Workshop Sheds etc. Candidates having working experience in Metro Rail civil engineering projects will be preferred. The candidates will be responsible for supervision and monitoring of Construction works, planning, design and interface with Government Agencies, etc. Candidate must be familiar with management of contracts relating to the large infrastructure projects. Quality Control & Assurance System in civil construction, Safety Implementation, Programme Monitoring, IS / International Codes for construction of civil underground structures is desirable.

Sr.No.2: Additional General Manager (Civil Design / Track)

Qualification : For Civil Design : Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 18 years of experience in structural design of Metro Viaduct, Pile Foundation, PSC Box Girders, I Girders, Diaphragm walls of Metro Rail Viaduct & Stations and all matters relating to Construction Planning, Construction Progress, Checking / Reviewing Metro Rail alignment, Station locations, land requirement for construction, review of tender technical specifications etc. Preference will be given to candidates having M.Tech in Structural engineering and experience in Bridge / Viaduct / Tunnel designs. Candidates having relevant experience in State or Central PSU / Board / Organization of Government / Metro Rail Organization having implemented Metro Rail Project will be given preference.
For Track: Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Civil) engineering graduate having minimum 18 years of Post Qualification experience in detailed track design a nd construction of Metro Rail / Railway track / track components procurement / planning construction and should be well versed with long welded rail (LWR) design and specifications. Experience should be in Ballast less track. Shall be incharge of all track related works and will also be responsible for track alignment, design & planning and track construction, maintenance and procurement. Candidate should have experience and knowledge of inter‐face with Metro Railway related disciplines such as signaling, traction and rolling stock, etc.

Candidates having experience of designing large number of elevated Metro stations which are in operation and Management of contracts relating to the large infrastructure projects will be preferred. Candidate should have exposure to use design software like CADD, Photoshop, 3D Max, Revit etc. Also candidate shall be conversant with the procedures for obtaining statutory clearance from local authorities.

Qualification : Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech (Electrical)/ (Electrical & Electronics) engineering graduate with minimum 10 years experience in planning, design, preparation of technical specification, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of traction power works including receiving sub‐stations, traction sub‐station, auxiliary sub‐station and power distribution works in construction projects of railways / metros/ other PSUs/ private sector dealing with electric traction system . Also candidate should be conversant with international competitive bidding process, computerized environment working and latest technologies in electric traction system etc. for underground/ elevated metro/rail projects in urban & suburban environment including consultancy works related to urban rail projects. Candidates with experience of working in modern urban metro rail systems with 750V DC third rail traction will be given preference.

Shall be responsible for Co‐ordination, supervision and DDC in connection with Design / Specification, installations, testing, commissioning and site supervision of LT panels, DG sets, LT cables & cable trays, EOT cranes & compressor systems for workshops, BMS and Access control system, VRF/VRV air conditioning system, LV distribution, Electrification of Building, Earth mat and Earth pits, Fire pumps and plumbing pumps, Fire hydrant, Sprinkler and Fire Detection and Alarm, Interfacing with other system Dept. Review of tender documents, GFC drawings etc. submitted by DDC.

Qualification : Candidate must be a full time graduate degree with three years LLB reputed university having minimum 7 to 9 years of experience in prescribed post qualification in the following areas: Arbitration, Industrial Law, Labour Laws, Contract Agreements, Administrative Law & Company Law. Candidate should be proficient in practices & procedures of Civils Courts, Tribunals, Arbitration Proceedings, submission of pleading and execution of decrees / awards. Drafting plaint, written statement, affidavits and various types of petitions to be filed in the court / tribunals. Also responsible for Drafting and scrutiny of various documents such as agreements like JV Agreements, service and security bonds, guarantee bonds and sale deeds etc. Preference will be given to persons having registration in Gujarat Bar Council with 10 years seniority and have gujarati language proficiency.
