Description:To provide GIS data capture and conflation services using Smallworld application.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:

• Accurately transpose network assets, attribute data and other details depicted on drawings or in an electronic format into approved computer systems.
• Perform quality assurance over completed jobs.
• Accurately input data into Client's GIS and other asset management systems.
• Access physical records or electronic system to input / retrieve data concerning assets.
• It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management, and based on the needs of the business.
• Carry out such other functions associated with we-do-IT (India) operations as may be directed from time to time.
• Comply with we-do-IT QMS and other policies.

Requirements:

Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent

Licenses/Certificates: NA

Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional GIS experience working in Smallworld GDO for utility projects.

Skills:

Essential:

• Should have knowledge in GIS and its Applications
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Smallworld and other GIS applications
• Proficiency in Smallworld tools and cartography skills.
• Proficiency in Spatial and Network data analysis.
• Should have knowledge of Utilities (Gas & Electric) concepts
• Understand client requirements and map them to GIS application functionalities.
• Accurately interpret client instructions, apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to the digitization and/or conflation of GIS data maps.
• Candidate must be able to contribute individually and without any supervision.
• Meet client established production and quality performance standards.
• Perform related work and additional duties as needed or required.
• Microsoft Office applications
• Good English communication skills (Verbal and Written)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Time Management skills

Desired:

• Adherence to ISO9001 standards and QMS process/procedures.
• Experience in GIS Data conflation is an added advantage
