Essential Qualifications : 1. A recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of the section 13 of the Act) 2. A recognized Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD in Medicine or Paediatrics or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto. DM in Paediatric Cardiology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto
