Job Description
Applications from Indian citizens are invited for the appointment of one Guest Faculty Anthropologyin February - June 2020 in the Department of Anthropology, North - Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong.
Qualifications: Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale) at the Master's Degree level preferably with specialization in Cultural Anthropology from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a recognized University (A relaxation of 5% marks at Master's Degree level shall be applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH category/OBC (Non- creamy layer)/to the PhD Degree holders who have obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19 September, 1991). Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, a candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar Test accredited by the UGC like SLET. Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET.
Honorarium: Rs 1500.00 per lecture up to a maximum of Rs 50,000.00 per month.
