Guest Faculty job opportunities in Pondicherry University

No. of Posts : 4 (General-2, OBC-1, SC-1)

Guest Faculty in Statistics

Subject to be Handled : Statistical Inference and Probability Distributions, Regression Modeling using R language.

Qualification : (i) M.Sc., Statistics with atleast 55% of marks . (ii) The candidate must have cleared NET conducted by UGC - CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (or) Ph.D., in Statistics as per 2009 regulations of UGC.

Additional Qualification : Good exposure in handling software like SPSS, SAS, MATLAB, EXCEL and R language

Guest Faculty in Economic& Econometrics

Subject to be Handled : Managerial Economics, Applied Econometrics, Time Series Analysis and Forecasting

Qualification : (i) M.A/M.Sc. in Economics/Econometrics with at least SS% of marks . (ii) The candidate must have cleared NET conducted by UGC - CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (or) Ph.D., in Economics/ Econometrics as per 2009 regulations of UGC.

Additional Qualification : Good exposure in handling software like SPSS, EXCEL, Eviews, STATA and R language

Guest Faculty in Finance

Subject to be Handled : Accounting and Financial Analysis. Financial Institutions and Markets , Portfolio Management. Financial Engineering and Derivatives, Strategic Financial Management, Global Finance and International Banking. Risk Management, Treasury and Fixed Income Securities, Behavioral Finance and Data Science

Qualification : (i) M.Com (Commerce) /M.B.A (Finance/ Banking) with at least 55% of marks (ii) The candidate must have cleared NET conducted by UGC - CSIR or similar test accredited by Ilse UGC like SLET/SET (or) Ph.D., in Commerce/ Banking/Finance as per 2009 regulations of UGC.

Additional Qualification : Good exposure in handling software like SPSS, EXCEL and R language and hands on experience in handling databases like TALLY. CMIE - PROWESS and BLOOMBERG.

Salary : Honorarium of Rs. 1000/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month
