Hardware Engineer job vacancies in National Institute of

Qualification: A First Class graduate in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics or any related field in engineering.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: technology development, R&D, product engineering, manufacturing, customer support.
Knowledge and experience in digital fabrication techniques and exposure to assistive technology will be an added asset.
Age Limit: 30 years
Job description: The incumbent will be responsible to provide a range of cost-effective, efficient, timely, reliable and appropriate assistive technology solutions to persons with disability, directly and through the departments at NISH. The work will include visualizing, conceptualizing, planning, designing, sourcing, executing, demonstrating, and supporting such solutions ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction. Awareness creation, demonstrations, training, industry interface, collaborating with other agencies, managing solution abandonment, conducting camps and outreach programs, continuous updating of knowledge of technology and devices, regular evaluation of assistive technologies, preparing and making presentations, and maintaining good relationships with customers, parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders are all important aspects of this job.
