Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Invites Application for 311 Head Master, Head Mistresses Recruitment 2020
Educational Qualification:1. Should have passed Graduation with minimum fifty-five per cent (55%) marks from a recognized university or institution as per University Grants Commission Guidelines;
2. Should have passed Degree of Bachelor of Education from a recognized university or institution except in case of persons working to the posts of Vocational Masters or Vocational Lecturer or Computer Masters or Computer Faculty as per University Grants Commission Guidelines; and 4.3 Should possess teaching experience for a minimum period of three years against the post of a teacher in any Government School under the control of the Director (Means Director of Public Instructions, Punjab)
3. Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.
Pay Scale:INR10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

In the wake of the Partition, the Punjab Public Service Commission resurged in February, 1948, at Shimla with its revised jurisdiction extending over the then province of East Punjab. Following the merger of the States of Punjab and Pepsu, it shifted to Patiala on Nov.1st,1956. On 1stNov1966, its territorial jurisdiction again decreased due to the formation of the States of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
