What is the position about?
As Head of Product Ownership you are leading the team of Product Owners for Digital Enterprise Offering Development.
You and your team are responsible for defining User Stories and prioritizing the Product- and Team Backlog. You and your team deeply understand customers’ needs. You bring this knowledge to the development teams and streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the development teams.
What are my responsibilities?
- Reporting Manger of Product Owners at Digital Enterprise
- Coaching Product Owners in Agile and SAFe Methodology - Lean Portfolio Management
- Organizing and giving Domain Trainings for creating domain awareness
- Continuously communicating and discussing the Offering Visions/Roadmaps
- with partners and the development teams
- Digital Enterprise-Technology Guide for the teams (collaborate with the global delivery hubs as well as with Siemens’ own technical experts from e.g. T RDA etc.)
- Support Program Mangers in managing domain competencies of the development team
- Organizing customer visits for all team members for creating domain awareness and customer centric solutions
- Overall Product Development Status Reporting as SPOC for your stakeholders (Business Owners, Chief Product Owners, Chief Architects)
- Customer Relationship Management (End-Customers): getting Feedback on Product Performance
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Qualification: BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / ME or equivalent (in Instrumentation/Mechatronics/Electrical/ Electronics)
Experience: 16+ years of experience.
Skills:
- Developing and leveraging relationships within/ across teams/ work groups, internal and external customers to achieve best results.
- Initiating and maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders, potential partners, internal and external customers to advance business goals.
- Experience in various R&D and management functions with professional experience (SW, HW, IT organization) Experience in research and development processes (Software-based solutions and products) ; in commercial topics; in implementation of strategies
- Experience in managing and directing software projects. Experience in expert functions like Software Development / Architecture, UX, Software Testing
- Organizational Experience: Exposure to and working experience in the relevant Siemens sector domain Digital Industry required.
- International experience with global projects and collaboration with intercultural team is preferred
- Strong analytical skills as well as wide horizon and a holistic mindset, with the ability to delve into technical details if required
- Knowledge of Requirement Engineering and Management in terms of collection, analysis, documentation, and tracing
- Experience with tools to design Mindmaps, Use Cases, GUI and prototypes
- Knowledge of methods and techniques for estimation, risk analysis, data interpretation, root cause analysis.
- Good Communication skills with excellent verbal and writing skills in English.
- Knowledge and experience on Design Thinking approach.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology.
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Frameworks like SAFe.
