Job Description
In charge – Helpdesk System
Lead the helpdesk team in attending to day to day support issues related to all aspects of hardware systems including their trouble shooting, repair and replacement. Providing on call support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports. Provide 9x5 basis technical support to Trainees & Participants in Hostel, Staff Quarters, Guest House and Retreat Area of the campus. Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs. Supervise, guide, monitor, lead and manage the junior IT staff assigned under.
In charge – Audit.
Responsible for carrying out audit exercises across the campus on a periodic basis to ascertain and verify the presence of hardware systems across the premises. Also, responsible for checking on the functionality and operational state of the same.
In Charge – Antivirus Security.
Responsible for arranging for antivirus security applications to be installed across all systems in IICA including monitoring of their periodic upgrade, patching and relicensing as required. Antivirus control and updating and coordination with concerned vendor.
In Charge – Records & Registers
Responsible for maintaining of all types of registers and records in relation to day to day functioning of the IT department. Complete maintenance of File movement register, Complaint records register, Correspondence records register, Official Communication records register, Diary & Serialization Register, Dak Register, Issue & Dispatch Register, Bills/Invoices receipt record register, Expenditure record register, Recharge Register etc.
In Charge – Inventory
Assigning asset identification numbers to all items of hardware. Creating database of all software resources with details like location, license, version. Updating database regarding all new installations, movement within or out of the campus, configuration changes etc. Maintain database of third party vendors for items which are under warranty.
In charge – Store & Stock.
Responsible for regular monitoring and supervising of stock, stock entries, stock register and store.
In charge – Vendor Coordination & Liaison
Liaison and coordinate with the authorized OEM vendors of the organization, suppliers etc. as and when required, in respect of devices and systems under their charge.
Coordination with vendors for installations / up gradation of new hardware as per the order placed. Call logging with vendors and follow up till final resolution.
Assistance
Assist Reporting Officer in the analysis of various informational problems in conjunction with personnel of organizational units and making recommendations on the feasibility and cost benefits of implementing information technology solutions.
Filing, Noting & Drafting
Initiate and prepare file work, noting and drafting for various projects and day to day requirements.
