Personal Assistant job opportunities in High Court of Allahabad
Educational Qualification : Candidates Should have passed Bachelor Degree and good knowledge of Stenography speed of 100 wpm in english shorthand & 40 wpm in English Typewriting
No. of Vacancies : (38 fresh + 25 backlog vacancies)
Note : The total no. of vacancies may increase or decrease in numbers and categories. Reservation for the members of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other categories of U.P. shall be made in accordance with the orders passed by the Chief Justice from time to time read with the orders issued by the Governor from time to time on the subject.
Pay Scale : In the Pay Scale of Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay: Rs. 4800 Pay Band-2, plus usual allowances
Age Limit : All candidates, between 21 years to 35 years in age as on 01.07.2016, possessing Bachelor Degree and good knowledge of Stenography (i.e. speed of 100 w.p.m. in English Shorthand & 40 w.p.m. in English Typewriting) having good knowledge in Computer are eligible to apply for the aforesaid post
Application Fee : The fee for General (Unreserved) and OBC category shall be Rs.1000+bank charges extra and for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category of Uttar Pradesh shall be Rs.500+ bank charges extra. The candidates seeking Horizontal reservation shall have to pay fees according to their original category

B y the Indian High Courts Act passed by British Parliament in 1861, provision was made, not only for the replacement of the Supreme Courts of Calcutta, Madras and Bombay and for the establishment of High Courts in their places, but for the establishment of a High Court by Letters Patent in any other part of Her Majesty’s territories not already included in the jurisdiction of another High Court. In the year 1866, the High Court of Judicature for the North-Western Provinces came into existence at Agra under Letters Patent of the 17th March, 1866, replacing the old Sudder Diwanny Adawlat. Sir Walter Morgan, Barrister-at-Law and Mr. Simpson were appointed the first Chief Justice and the first Registrar respectively of High Court of North-Western Provinces
