Junior Engineer (Civil)/01 Post
Qualification : Should have passed matriculation examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board / university ii) Regular full time three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from an Institution /University duly recognized by the Central or State Government,. Desirable : a) Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh b) The name of desirous candidates applying for the posts should be registered with an Employment Exchange in Himachal Pradesh
Surveyor/01 Post
Qualification : Should have passed matriculation examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University ii) Must possess ITI Diploma in trade of Survey work from an Institution duly recognized by the Central or State Government . Desirable : a) Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh b) The name of desirous candidates applying for the posts should be registered with an Employment Exchange in Himachal Pradesh
Selection : Selection will be made by the Committee constituted by the State Govt for recruitment of Physically disabled persons under the Chairmanship of Head of the Department i.e Managing Director, HP State Industrial Development Corporation

Himachal Pradesh has been inhabited by human beings since the dawn of civilization. It has a rich and varied history which can be divided into several distinct eras. About 2 million years ago man lived in the foothills of Himachal Pradesh, viz in the Bangana valley of Kangra, Sirsa valley of Nalagarh and Markanda valley of Sirmour.
