Hindi Translator Jobs opportunity in Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) on contract basis

Qualifications & Experience : Master’s Degree of recognized University in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as compulsory/elective subject at degree level. OR Master’s Degree of recognized University in any subject with English and Hindi as compulsory/elective subject at degree level. OR Master’s Degree of recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as compulsory/elective subject at degree level. OR Master’s Degree of recognized University in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level. OR Bachelor degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as compulsory/elective subject plus a recognished diploma/certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State govt. offices including Govt. of India Undertaking.

Desirable : 1) 2 years experience in translation work of officials documents. 2) Knowledge of Computer. 3) Knowledge of Marathi.

Remuneration : Consolidated lump-sum remuneration of Rs. 25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand).

Age Limit : 40 years

Selection Procedure : Eligible candidates short-listed based on the initial screening only shall be called for written test and/or interview. Date, time and venue of the written test/interview shall be intimated to the shortlisted /eligible candidates.
